FINDING PEACE
I came to this work as an End-of-Life Doula through lived experience and a deep understanding of the emotional and practical needs that arise at the end of life. From an early age, I witnessed how important it is to have compassionate support and meaningful companionship during this time.
In those moments, I saw the value of having someone, outside the medical setting, who could simply be there. Someone to facilitate comfort, presence and understanding. To hold space for peace, grief, love, reflection, and the often-overwhelming planning that comes with the end-of-life journey. That experience planted a quiet seed in me, one that grew into a calling.
Years later, that calling became Finding Peace.
Through this work, I offer what I once wished for: a calm, supportive presence during life’s most vulnerable moments. Someone to gently guide individuals and families by listening, holding space, and honouring the sacredness of this time. My mission is to help create a sense of peace and dignity around death. Whether that means helping with planning, sharing memories, offering quiet companionship, or facilitating heartfelt conversations, I’m here to support in whatever way is needed.
At the heart of Finding Peace is the belief that dying, like living, deserves love, presence, and choice.
